April 8, 2018April 8, 20181 Comment

Whether you're a gamer looking to introduce your family to the world of tabletop games, or a family looking to spend a little more quality time together away from those devices, these are some of my favourite family games that are a hit with all experiences and ages, from kids to grandparents! In part 1 … Continue reading Family Games – Part 1, Co-operative Games

Dice Forge was a winner for game night this week 😊 it's the best feeling when you introduce a friend to a new game thinking they'll really like it and turns out you were right! It was a really tight game, I won with 91, beating Daniel by 1 point to make up for the Clank game last week where he beat me by 1 point! Si came in at 88, so really could have been anyone's!
These notebookes @frompaperchase are the most perfect Dungeon Master notebooks!!
When he wants me to take a picture of his winning stand in Barker's Row but doesn't wanna be in the picture... 📸
We've been playing a lot of Clank with our friend Simon and he wanted to buy his own copy to play with his wife as a 2p so I pursuaded him to get Clank In Space instead so we could try it 😆 luckily he likes it even more than the original! And I think I do too, so I'm kinda jealous although I know we'll get to play it whenever we want. I enjoyed the faction powers and trash abilities, felt more like a traditional deck-builder. The sci-fi references are also great! @renegade_game_studios I scored 81 and then Daniel won with 82!!! 😡
NOW CLOSED!✨GIVE AWAY!!✨ This mug is both accurate and amusing. If sarcasm isn't your strongest stat I've also got Panache, Sass, Moxie and Pazzazz available in my store. Wanna win a free mug? Just let me know what custom stat you would have for +5! The best answers will be made available as part of the collection with one being selected for a free mug! Want one of the pre-existing stats? Just tag a d&d loving friend and it'll count as an entry! 🌍 Giveaway is open to all countries as I ship worldwide. 📅 I'll be selecting a winner 22nd April! 💻 Link to store in my profile via my linktee!
I just got the most BEAUTIFUL dice! I'm beyond obsessed with copper so if you know me, you know what a big deal these dice are 😂😍
I upgraded the 'horrors' from Sub-Terra. The most disappointing part of the game is those little black wooden tokens, how is that remotely scary?! Considering the production put into everything else in the game they really stand out as subpar. These guys from The Others are suitably terrifying however 😱
I've been asked in the past by non-gamers for recommendations on games they could play with their kids so I decided to start a new series on the blog focusing on getting new families gaming! (Link in bio via my linktree) I think the hobby can seem a little daunting from the outside so I'm breaking it down into co-op, competitive and party style games, suitable for all the family, young and old. Easy enough for if you've never played a board game in your life but great fun for more experienced gamers too! First up is co-op games... What co-op games do you like to play with the whole family?
After the arrival of some pretty large games I had to have a little shuffle around and tidied up my small game shelves to make a some more room. Small games are such a pain but I think this is utilising the space pretty well for the time being...
